This post is a very very long overdue post.
I finally managed to get hold of those photos from Yiling.

Behold the Nuffnang Regional Blog Awards 2009.
23rd October 2009 at Pan Pacific Singapore Grand Ballroom.

I was invited by Nuffnang to attend this award ceremony because my blog shop got nominated for the "best blog shop" category.
This came to me as a huge surprise!
Out of hundreds and thousands of nominations which I had heard from, only 60 blogs were picked out and became finalist.
And somehow my humble blogshop of 3.5 years made its way to the finalist of "best blog shop".
I must really thank the person who nominated my shop because I have no idea this award ceremony existed until I received an email.
There were other categories such as to name a few, "best celebrity blog", best travel blog", "best food blog", best fashion blog". best entertainment blog".

Anyways, I'm grateful to be in the finalist :)
I knew I won't win the award because the other blog shops were way much better and they deserve it more!

As I could bring a friend along, Cindy and Yiling had to flight it out.
In the end, Yiling went along with me!
Attire was cocktail dresses.
I was lazy to go hunt for new cocktail dresses plus such dresses are a waste of money.
Plus this award night clashes with my study break.
I wore back an old cocktail worthy dress; pretty outdated dress.
Yiling says "AIYO why your dress so long one?"

We had a huge group photo together.
There were so many cameras pointing at us, snapping and flashing.
Oh my, I felt like a star for that moment!

Everyone gets to bring home a bottle of sweets :)
They are good sweets and I managed to find their retail shop in Central.



You can customized your own tag ling on those sweets.
Maybe I should make a "Shao Zong sucks, Amanda rules" tag line.
